KingSmith Showcases Award-Winning Innovations at China Sport Show 2026

KingSmith unveiled two of its most ambitious innovations to date at China Sport Show 2026, held in Xiamen from May 21–24, where the upcoming WalkingPad G5i Foldable Incline Treadmill and WalkingCase were both honored with CSS Awards for innovative product design.

As the largest sporting goods exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region, China Sport Show is widely regarded as one of the industry’s most influential stages for emerging technologies and product innovation. The dual recognition highlights KingSmith’s continued leadership in redefining home fitness through compact engineering, intelligent functionality, and human-centered design.

At the exhibition, KingSmith also introduced its new brand mission, “Better Living, Together,” reflecting the company’s broader vision of making healthier lifestyles more accessible through thoughtfully designed fitness solutions that integrate naturally into modern living spaces.

The two award-winning products embody distinct yet complementary directions within this vision: the G5i focuses on advancing performance engineering in compact fitness equipment, while WalkingCase explores how portability and convenience can help reduce everyday barriers to movement. Both the G5i Foldable Incline Treadmill and WalkingCase are scheduled for official market release in June 2026.

WalkingPad G5i Foldable Incline Treadmill: Bringing Full-Performance Incline Training Home

The G5i introduces a practical breakthrough in foldable treadmill design. As the first treadmill to combine an 18% automatic incline system with a half-folding running deck, the treadmill delivers high-performance incline training in a form factor designed specifically for modern home environments.

Despite its space-saving footprint, the G5i is engineered to deliver a secure, stable, and comfortable workout experience. A spacious running deck is paired with the new SoftStep Incline™ cushioning system, designed to balance responsive shock absorption with solid foot support during intense incline walking and running.

“It is highly challenging to maintain both stability and foldability in an incline treadmill structure, especially at high incline levels,” said Nick Wang, Vice President and Head of the Product R&D Team. “The team developed an entirely new structural matrix to make a full-performance incline treadmill possible in a compact, foldable form.”

WalkingCase: Designed to Remove the Friction of Fitness

KingSmith also introduced WalkingCase, a new category of ultra-portable walking pad treadmill created around one simple idea: making exercise easier to start.

Inspired by the mobility of a suitcase, the WalkingCase features a telescopic handle and integrated casters, allowing users to move, unfold, and store the treadmill with minimal physical effort. Designed for apartments, offices, and compact homes, the product focuses on everyday practicality.

“We realized that for some users, even taking out a walkingpad can become a barrier to exercise,” said Nick Wang, “WalkingCase was designed to make movement more effortless from the very beginning — easier to move, easier to unfold, and easier to live with every day.”

The concept drew strong attention during the exhibition. Former NBA player Sonny Weems visited the KingSmith booth and experienced WalkingCase firsthand.

“I’d like to have one of these for my mom,” said Sonny Weems after trying the product.

A Vision for Global Growth and Innovation

At the concurrent APFit Industry Summit, KingSmith CEO and founder Albert Jing shared insights into the company’s long-term approach to innovation and the evolution of compact fitness products.

“What we do is actually very simple. We created a new product category, and we continue refining it through continuous innovation,” Jing stated.

He also emphasized the growing importance of protecting proprietary technologies as the brand continues expanding internationally. Today, KingSmith holds more than 260 patents worldwide spanning structural engineering, industrial design, and smart fitness technologies, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to innovation-driven product development.
